Privacy & Legal
1. Disclaimer — what our tools are, and are not
In particular:
- Results depend entirely on the accuracy and completeness of your answers or the document you upload. Incomplete input produces an incomplete picture.
- The invoice checker performs an automated, AI-assisted review. It may miss issues and may flag items that are, on closer inspection, acceptable. Treat its output as a starting point for review, not a verdict.
- e-invoicing.org is not an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) and is not affiliated with the UAE Ministry of Finance or the Federal Tax Authority. Under the UAE Electronic Invoicing System, final validation and transmission of e-invoices is performed by your ASP.
- Regulations evolve. While we work to keep our checks aligned with current rules — including Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017, its Executive Regulation, Ministerial Decisions 243 & 244 of 2025 and Cabinet Decision 106 of 2025 — we do not guarantee that our content reflects the most recent requirements at any given moment.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, e-invoicing.org accepts no liability for decisions made, or actions taken or not taken, in reliance on our tools or reports. Always consult a qualified tax adviser before acting.
2. Privacy statement
This statement explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We aim to follow the principles of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).
What we collect and why
- Readiness checker: your name (optional), email address, your questionnaire answers, and your consent choices. We use these to generate and email your readiness report — that is the service you request by submitting the form.
- Deadline reminders (optional): only if you tick the separate reminders box, we use your email to send you reminders as your compliance deadline approaches and occasional UAE e-invoicing updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by contacting us.
- Invoice checker: your uploaded invoice is processed transiently to produce the analysis. We do not store the contents of your invoice. We keep only anonymised statistics: the file name, the resulting scores and finding counts.
How processing works
- Your submissions go to our own server. From there, questionnaire data is stored with our database provider, report emails are sent through our email provider, and uploaded invoices are analysed by our own deterministic rules engine, entirely on our server — the file never leaves our infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective terms and do not use it for their own purposes beyond providing the service.
- We do not sell your data. We do not share it with ASPs, advertisers or any other third party for their own marketing.
Retention
- Readiness submissions are kept while we operate the service so we can honour your reminder preference and improve the tool. You can ask us to delete your record at any time.
- Invoice contents are not retained after analysis, as described above.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent to reminders at any time. Contact us at privacy@e-invoicing.org and we will respond within a reasonable period.
